A Holistic Approach to Health – an interview with MUDr. Rodion Schwarz, founder of Schwarz Clinic | the Infuze Pomáhá project
Infusion therapies are still relatively new here. What led you to open infusion centers, and where do you see their main benefit for prevention and regeneration of the body?
I observed a recurring pattern in patients: exhaustion, weakened immunity, and prolonged recovery. Infusion therapies make it possible to rapidly replenish nutrients and antioxidants at concentrations that cannot be achieved through diet or standard supplementation. I see their benefit on three levels:
-
Medical: support of immunity, recovery after illness, correction of deficiencies.
-
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM): replenishing depleted Qi and harmonizing organ systems weakened by stress or illness.
-
Holistic: a feeling of a “reset,” renewed energy, and motivation to change one’s lifestyle.
You have recently introduced molecular hydrogen generators into your centers. What was the main reason, and how do they fit into your holistic approach to health?
I see hydrogen as a modern form of “gentle medicine.” It is the smallest molecule, easily penetrating tissues and acting as a selective antioxidant—targeting areas where oxidative stress is harmful while not disrupting physiological processes where free radicals play a role. This fits perfectly with my philosophy of non-invasive support of the body: creating the right conditions for the organism to restore balance on its own.
What initial feedback or specific effects have you observed in clients using hydrogen therapy?
Patients most often report a feeling of lightness, improved sleep, and reduced fatigue after exertion. Some have noticed a calming of inflammatory skin symptoms or better tolerance of physical activity. Of course, we emphasize that this is not a miracle cure, but rather a tool that can support regeneration.
How do you view the current scientific research on molecular hydrogen? Do you see potential for it to become a standard part of modern preventive medicine?
The research field is still relatively young, but very dynamic. There are hundreds of studies indicating hydrogen’s potential in protecting cells from oxidative stress, as well as in neurological conditions, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. I believe it may become a common component of preventive medicine—much like vitamin C or omega-3 fatty acids are today. However, more high-quality clinical data will be needed.
Where do you see holistic medicine heading in the Czech Republic, and what further innovations are you planning in your centers?
Holistic medicine is moving toward integration—connecting expert medical procedures with an approach that sees the person as a whole. I believe the future lies in personalized medicine that takes into account genetics, laboratory values, lifestyle, and mental well-being. In our centers, we plan to further develop preventive programs that combine laboratory testing, infusion therapy, hydrogen medicine, and patient education. Our goal is for people to leave not only with vitamins in their bloodstream, but also with inspiration to change their lives.
